We know how relevant Generation Z is with technology. So do they use technology for consumption or for production? In order to prepare future generations for the future, we must raise individuals who can produce, think, and solve problems from today, taking into account the conditions of the future. For this reason, coding skills are being taught all over the world from an early age. The Scratch program in particular attracts the attention of students, they write code to express their emotions.
HEDEFLER
Our main aims are:
-Integrating our coding activities into the curriculum by considering the course outcomes.
-To enable students to express their feelings by coding according to subject / theme.
-Developing the key competences of schools such as entrepreneurship,creativiy.
-Preparing our students for the professions they will encounter in the future.
ÇALIŞMA SÜRECI
- Organizing meetings with participating teachers
* Planning the project with participating teachers,
determining the topics.
- Explaining the process of writing the program / explaining the logic of the program / teaching concepts such as variable and loop. (Code.org etc. can be used.)
-Browse the programs made with Scratch program. In this context, to examine the projects on https://scratch.mit.edu/
-Introduce the Scratch program to students / To have general information about the code blocks in the interface.
- Present meaningful wholes by using code blocks in Scratch program.
-Enable students to create scratch programs according to the theme given to them.
-Publishing the activities made by students on the school website.
